TL;DR Serviceable, high quality and very reasonably priced. I'm not crazy about the cut or the fabric but it is still a very well made smock, seems extremely durable, looks professional and is true-to-size according to the Fame® size chart. It's also a very good price.
I have searched and searched for a smock that I like. This smock is okay. I'm incredibly picky, though. I really thought the sleeves would be longer. They're more like half sleeves than 3/4 sleeves. That was the main reason that I bought these smocks (I ordered two) so I'm pretty disappointed. 3/4 sleeves are a lot more flattering than half sleeves that barely reach your elbow. Half sleeves make it look like one of those old-school bowling jackets. Half sleeves make the jacket look a lot more boxy which is not the look I'm going for. Also, I thought I would be okay with the fabric being 65/35 Poly/Cotton Poplin but it really doesn't feel soft or breathable the way 100% cotton poplin does. I searched online for a smock that was both 100% cotton poplin that also had 3/4 sleeves but this was the closest thing I could find. I really don't like the way the fabric feels but I'll just wash it a bunch of times in hopes that it will feel better. I'll use it in the meantime but I'm still on the quest for my cotton smock with 3/4 sleeves. If I had my druthers I'd make it about 6" longer, too. It's very well made and will serve its purpose, though. I'm just extremely picky. I honestly think that most people would be just fine with this smock. I'm keeping the ones I ordered to use until I find the smock that fits my exact specifications. I'm sure they'll be perfectly fine in the meantime.
Next I might order the Men's Counter Coat K73 and take it to a tailor to make the long sleeves into 3/4 sleeves and maybe give it some darts so it's more flattering.
Very nice product, just expected the sleeves to be alittle longer, a true 3/4 sleeve
